Take Your Final Examinations
At Home
Passing each course is dependent upon
you receiving a score of 70% or better on each final examination.
These tests may be taken OPEN BOOK. You will find that the
final exam questions are similar to those in the mini-quizzes
and they also follow the textbook reading in sequence.
New DRE Course Delivery Guidelines (Commissioner's Regulations 3006)
You cannot access the course final examination until all reading assignments and Chapter quizzes have been completed. When you complete the last chapter quiz you receive a link to the Final Examination. This applies to ALL enrollments, with or without physical books, so even if you have books, you must log in and complete the chapter quizzes before you can access the final examination.
Minimum Time of Completion
You must first wait 24 hours before accessing ANY final exam. After that, Commissioner’s Regulation Section 3007.3 now states that students are limited to completion of a maximum of 15 credit hours during any one 24 hour period. The
maximum time allowed for completion of your courses is one
year from the date of enrollment. Completion of the course
means reading the course material and passing the final examination
for each course.
What Happens If I Fail?
If you should fail the course final examination, you will be given one opportunity to re-take the exam you failed. The questions in the re-examination will be different questions than those asked in the original final examination. A second failure would require reenrollment and completion of the instructional portion of the course.
Where Do I Take My Final
Examination?
We now offer final exam testing at home via the Internet. You were issued a Personal Identification Number (PIN) with log in instructions when you enrolled. It is to your advantage to take your final exam(s) on-line because they will be graded instantly on your screen. No waiting for your results. Note: Any student, regardless of where they live, may take their final exams(s) at our school in Campbell.
If you do not have Internet access and cannot take your test
at our school in Campbell, you may take your final exam(s) at
an approved location near your home or office. Your monitor
must fill out, sign and return our Monitor Approval Form before
your final exams will be sent.
You may suggest to us a monitor you would like to use by sending
in the Monitor Form. When your final exam is sent to your monitor,
we will send you a letter notifying you that the final has been
sent.
Testing Times At Our Campbell
School Location
You may begin your final examination at our school in Campbell
between the hours of 9 A.M. and 2 P.M., Monday through Friday.
An appointment is NOT necessary. All testing stops at 4 P.M.
