45-Hour Package (Salesperson
or Broker)
ATTENTION! DRE CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
HAVE CHANGED
All licensees must complete a DRE approved 3-hour course
in Risk Management as part of their 45-hour
renewal. This change does not increase the overall required
45 hours of continuing education needed for license renewal.
The 45-hour requirement must include separate 3-hour courses
in the mandatory subjects of Agency, Ethics, Fair
Housing, Trust Fund Handling, and
now Risk Management.
Minimum Time of Completion
You must first wait 24 hours before accessing ANY final exam. After that, Commissioner’s Regulation Section 3007.3 now states that students are limited to completion of a maximum of 15 credit hours during any one 24 hour period.The maximum time allowed for completion of your
courses is one year from the date of enrollment. Completion
of the course means taking and passing final examination
for each course.
